Scholarship Program
The Coos County's Shining Star program is a mentorship program design for kids ages 5-12. The goal of the program is to provide each participant with the opportunity to further develop life skills including advocating for a social cause, stage presence, poise and self-confidence. This allows our candidates the opportunity to be positive role models and gives the little sister the opportunity of experiencing the empowerment of this program before reaching competition age. On competition night our Shining Stars will perform on stage.
